Oskar Pink in Kentish Town
The Company
The company was started in 2007 by Stavros Konstantinou who felt the need to counter the generic image of high street chain salons. Oskar Pink is the antidote to the sterile factory type outlets flooding Britain’s high streets. Stavros’ experience and knowledge in branding and concepts stemmed from his BA in Retail Design Management from the London Institute and a hairdressing career which has spanned over three decades. Stavros sadly passed away in January 2022 at the age of 55. The company is now owned by his twin Costas who is proud to continue the business as a legacy to his brother.

The Name
The salon name derived from an ironic poke at egotistical hairdressers who brand salons using their own names. This led to the name ‘Oskar Pink’, a fictitious personality which reflects the macho yet camp stereotype of the highly strung flamboyant hairdressers.
The Salon
Hand picking a team of stylists and technicians, our personnel are put through a training schedule prior to graduating on the salon floor. This usually involves a presentation of work to satisfy today’s competitive standards.
Oskar Pink’s relaxed but professional attitude has established itself as a firm favourite with the local clientele. Each salon has its own unique identity operating under the culture of Oskar Pink’s quality and detail. Our aim is to build a strong relationship with our customers to offer understanding without compromising skill.
